Russian Icon Triptych with Silver Oklad, 1848
Icon of Nicholas the Wonderworker to the center, with a silvered oklad. Riza is stamped from Moscow, with the makers initials, silver standard mark of 84, as well as an assayer's mark with initials r.o dated 1848. Hand painted icon depicts Saint Nicholas in the center with two angels above him on either side. The icon is loosely mounted to the gilt wood triptych with applied faux stone cabochons. Triptych measures 10" H, icon 4" H x 3 1/4" W

Condition: As-is condition with minor losses to gilt, beads and wear to icon commensurate with age.
