Large spiked stone mace head with two bands of multi-facetted spikes.
Chavin mace heads are carved stone objects that were likely used for ceremonial and symbolic purposes within the religious practices of the Chavin peoples, they are characterized by their spikes and pierced central shaft opening for mounting on a staff. Size 5" H x 4 1/2" W
