West Africa, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire, Akan Cultures, Asante peoples mid to early 20th century. Fine large finger ring cast with a series of ribbed decorations. For additional information on Asante gold Finger rings and similar examples see (Gold of the Akan from the Glassell Collection, pg. 168-185) Note; Acid tested at 18k with light dissolving probably closer to 18k, weight 31grams. Size 1" W (US Ring Size 5.5)
