Pre-Columbian Stone Metate & Pestle
Lovely metate and pestle in a chic minimalist form with three almost triangular legs, and a long smooth grinding surface. Encompassed in lovely light grey, dark grey and natural taupe hues throughout. Size of metate 15" L x 11 1/4" W
Collected prior to 2008, ex-Lacy Gallery (Vanna & Lee Lacy collection), Los Angeles CA. Lacy Gallery was founded upon six decades of collecting ethnographic and fine art. Lee Lacy was a distinguished Hollywood producer of iconic TV series and commercials.
Condition: As-is condition with wear from use and age throughout.
