Zuni Sunface Hardstone Carving, Signed
Wonderfully carved Native American Zuni Sunface, with feathered elaborate headdress. Set beneath sprawling canyon walls, with a village carved in relief at the base, and a animated character among steps to the middle. On one side a large stock of maize grows, on the reverse an elaborate incised design. Signed rear bottom left. Size 12 1/2" H x 2 1/4" W
Condition: Piece is broken and repaired at the top in two places, else in good condition.
