Engraved Mexican Eagle Head Machete Sword w/ Scabbard
Mexican machete sword with wide single edge blade circa 1900-1930. Engraved to the blade in Spanish "Guerreiro Patria Viva Mexico" translated to (Warrior Homeland Long Live Mexico) with foliate engraving to surrounding area. Horn eagle head handle in good condition. The reverse with additional engraving of foliate scenes with the words in Spanish "Acapulco! Honor Y Gloria a Mi". Proof marked to ricasso (?GA). Scabbard in tan leather with belt and buckle and light tooling overall. Size 28 3/4" L, blade 23 1/4" L
Condition: very good with excellent engraving visible
