Pair of Wood Carved Philippines Rice Gods, Seated Bulul
Wonderfully carved pair of Filipino Bulul rice deities each carved from a single piece of wood. Finely slit eyes, with small button shaped noses, and slightly curved mouths. The figures are depicted seated with arms rested on their knees pulled to their chests. The unfinished base consuming where feet would be is slightly unusual and not often seen in these types of statues. Size 17 1/2" H, 5 1/4" W
Condition: Soiling and minor losses throughout, else in good condition throughout.
