Large Gilt Bronze Sino-Tibetan Buddha
Fine and very large Sino-Tibetan bronze seated buddha with partial gilt and red lacquer remnants all over. Buddha is wearing long flowing robes that are incised to the boarders of the sleaves and collar. Buddha sits legs crossed with the right hand extended in the Abhaya mudra (no fear) with the left hand in the Varada mudra (favourable mudra). The head with cobalt blue color hair, elongated ear lobes, red colored lips, and serene nearly closed eyes. Copper seal to the base with an incised pattern. Size: 21 1/4" H, 13 7/8" W
