Chinese Lacquered Shadow Puppet Box
Painted in much detail, this Chinese black and red lacquered shadow puppet box tells stories of its own on each panel. Children of various ages gathered in several groups playing games, swimming, playing instruments and gathering supplies. Chinese brass lock with incised calligraphy. Size 16 1/4" H x 13 1/4" L x 16 1/2" W
Condition: Minor surface wear and scratches, would have originally had dolls included.
