American Civil War bowie knife marked "Kimball Mason" with a fine stag horn antler handle. Brass mount guard and collar. Typical bowie knife well polished from time and use. Scabbard with scaring and burns. Several known names of the civil war correspond to the name Kimball Mason including a US Sargent and a member of the staff to General Irvin McDowell.
