Italian Murano Glass Lion, signed Giuliano Tosi 1980
Fantastic Italian Murano glass lion hand signed by Giuliano Tosi 1980. During a visit to the glass factory artist George Fellows was gifted this lion by Mr. Tosi, the only to be produced given to then President Mr. Jimmy Carter. Tosi was known for his exceptional depictions of Murano glass with the added effect of adding gold dust and to his pieces elevating their color and uniqueness. Tosi now a master has a lineage of glassmaking back to 1483, he studied under master Albino Carrara and was gifted Carrara's corteo.
