Small Philippines wood shield, late 20th century
Philippines Archipelago, Bontok, Luzon, probably Igorot tribal shield with convex center, notched at the ends and with a protruding point to the base. The reverse with a recessed carved handle, stained in a dark brown wood. Smaller form with old wood construction possibly for a child. Size 22" h x 7" W
