Large Jalisco Laying Female Figure, 300 BCE-300 CE
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco 300 BCE - 300 CE. A large female figure that lays flat on its back, small feet not designed to enable the figure to stand, armored bumpy shoulders, and nude female form. The head is wide with a plain headdress, earrings, nose ring, and mouth agape. Short arms with linear details to ends representative of fingers. Size 15 1/2" H x 10" W
