Philippines, Maranao Betel Nut Chew Container
Beautifully beaded wood betel nut chew container which was also used for ointments and fragrant herbs. Beadwork is original, glass beads varying from red, yellow, blue, white, black and green, bronze bells, tassels and a decorative horn carving. The container is made from a solid wood with a well fitted lid. Size overall 13 1/2" L, wood container 1 1/4" H
Condition: Wonderful preserved condition throughout.
