Filipino War Sibat
Barbed spear point, hardwood staff, braided rattan ferrules, iron spud socketed base. This sibat or spear is the perfect lightweight and deadly war weapon, the shaft can be used to block an enemy's weapon and then followed with a thrust into the throat or stomach. Size overall 62" L, spear 5" H
Collected by a teacher in the Philippines (late 1970's) who resided at Clark Air Base for over fifteen years.
Condition: As-is with patina throughout.
