U.S. Cavalry McClellan Saddle Bags, Circa 1880's & Later
Very good antique pair of saddle bags, circa. late 19th - early 20th century. This pattern conforms to the United States Military cavalry patterns produced in the 1880's thru the U.S. pattern 1917 used in World War I. Brown leather construction with white fabric inserts. Leather is supple with some wear commensurate with age and use. Some early repair to bridge. Size of bag 13" W, total length of saddle 44" L
