Lovely African Wood Carved Fertility Doll
Finely detailed African wood carved fertility doll with beautiful teal and sea green colored necklaces and belly bands. Her facial features are carved in high relief with arched brows, small protruding nose, and slightly plump lips. The wood is light, but is covered in a ceremonial patina and smells of camp fires. Size 8 1/8" H, custom stand included.
Family collection of an esteemed diplomat and ambassador amassed during travel and work circa 1960-1990s in the medical field providing charitable advanced medical care throughout the African continent and internationally.
Condition: Good condition overall with minor surface wear.
