Chinese White Jade Ceylon Cat & Kitten, Qing 1644-1912
Early translucent white jade stone carving with some browning around the tail often referred to as - bark. Mother Ceylon cat feline and kitten semi-coiled. Late Qing Dynasty appears Tongzhi 1856-1875. Including original Hong Kong export permit stamp. Beautiful glow to entirety of stone under soft light. Size 1 3/4" L x 3/4" W, weight 24 grams
Wong collection, Los Angeles, CA, US, Mr. Wong was a Hong Kong government translator and court interpreter and amassed his collection in Hong Kong during the mid-1900's-1978.
Condition: Very good condition, without any obvious signs of wear or damage
