Algerian Miquelet Flintlock Musket, 18th-19th c.
Antique Algerian musket miquelet flintlock, circa late 18th-early 19th century. Octagonal barrel with camel bone inlaid butt stock, inset with circular decoration. Additional inlaid camel bone geometric shapes. Engraved brass and steel flintlock decorated with scrolling and light chiseling. Belgian proofed to left side of barrel with a distinct E, possible I G and lastly A. with a brass and steel embossed strap. Size 62" L, barrel 48 1/2" L, .67 caliber
