Enlarged Scale Miniature Knight In Armour, 19th century
Enlarged scale miniature full suit of armour on stand with polearm and shield. Etched to surface of breastplate and shield with Germanic decoration of scrolling and foliage including a coat of arms. Interior of the helm a molded and painted head. Helmet consisting of fully moveable components and a latch for the skull. Remainder in like construction with multiple lames to all surface hand hammered rivets and articulating components. Size 33 3/8" H including base
