Element of Armour, 16th-17th c.
Early period element of armour from the 16th or 17th century. Perforated with numerous pierced holes to just below the rolled edge. Probably the lower component of legs or tassets to be attached to a liner. Higgins Armory Museum tag with number (828.58). Size 8 1/2" W
