European Armour Upper Cannon Element, 16th-17th c. (Ex-Higgins)
European armour element of an upper cannon consisting of four sheets of steel that would have attached at the top to a rotating component. The lower two lames have been added in the period and the leather has been replaced later. 16th - 17th century. Painted to the interior with inventory number (828) in white. Size 9" L x 5" W
