Fluted Element of Armour, 15th-16th c.
Nice early (probably 15th - 16th century) German armour wrist plate for a gauntlet with a roped border and fluted design. Pierced to the lower side for an articulating rivet. Higgins Armory Museum Inventory Number (828.122) Size 5" W
