Persian / Islamic culture, Qajar Period 18th-19th century (specifically 1789 - 1925). Beautifully embossed lacquered painting of a royal hunt depicting a king and court figures chasing stag and leopards on horseback. Size 17 3/4" W x 12 3/4" H

Condition: Typical wear and losses to lacquer finish on sides but with the primary scene quite intact. Old label reverse
