Long European Spear Polearm, Ex-Higgins Armory Museum
Very long European steel tipped spear with an strong spear head of three sides. Long slender wood shaft with a blunted steel base spike. 17th century. Ex-John Woodman Higgins Collection. Some leather wrappings and a steel clap, probably for use to hoist colors or a banner. 12 1/2" L, overall 108" L
