Greek Marble Head of a Goddess
Beautiful honey colored stone carved in classical style head. Rounded face with inset almond shaped eyes, and striated hair bound in fillet. This sweet rendering leaves the admirer with question as to what the entire statue would have looked like. Size 2 1/4" H, 4" H on included stand
ex-New York, New York collection, ex-Mr. David F. Hoff estate, Virginia acquired in the 1990s.
Condition: Fragment of a larger statue with lovely patina throughout.
