Excellent Flintlock Carbine w/ Expanding Stock, 18th c.
Fine and excellent quality flintlock carbine with expanding stock, 18th century. Stock in a maple or oak with brass mounts and chiseled steel lock plate. Barrel is a very stout octagonal form. Original ramrod. Strong action. Size 28" L, 32" L when expanded, barrel 16 1/2" L, weight 6 lbs
