Fine Southeast Asian Silver-Clad Seated Buddha Statue
Southeast Asia, probably Thailand 19th century. Gorgeous Thai seated depiction of Buddha on a triple throne. Constructed of solid silver panels hand hammered over a wood and resin core. For a very similar example see the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts Accession Number # (5974). Size 7 1/4" H x 6" W
