Copper Plate Etching : Cathedral St. John the Divine
Etched copper plate circa the 1940s. The plate surface is paraffin protected. Image under paraffin reveals an etching of The West Front of The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine . 3.25 x 5 inches. The plate comes with an example of the print produced, with notes on the proof from the 1940s by the original printer. Noted: the example printer's proof includes additional text at the bottom that is not on the copper plate.
