Stamped Authentic Soviet Military ID Card, issued from the 1960s-80s. Original document printed in the Soviet Union with the exclusive purpose of being issued to a Soviet Army / Navy serviceman. The rubberized red cover shows the Soviet emblem and inscription "USSR Military ID, Ministry of Defense." Measures approx. 3.25 x 4.25. Nice graphic design to the watermarked internal pages. All of the inside pages have a typographically printed individual serial number at the top (on one side or the other). A standard-issue document for every enlisted or NCO in the Soviet Armed Forces from the 1960s to 1991. Plus:(1) 1971 American Bar Association: The Soviet Legal System; A Primer. 44 pages, softcover intro to contrasts between the USSR and the USA legal systems. (2) U.S.S.R.; tourist information, travel brochure by Intourist circa the 1940s-50s, printed in English encouraging tourists from English speaking nations to enjoy the Soviet Union on vacation. (3) Two Russian language primary school level books, one workbook circa the 1940s (cover loss and used ), and a hardcover reader, printed in NY for education in Russian, circa 1930s-40s. The paper book cover is pro-freedom of speech /anti-communism.
