The newly discovered collection of Pamela Rankin-Smith, a socialite and photographer who captured candid photos of iconic figures from the last quarter of the twentieth century, along with her negative catalog and rights, will be presented at auction.

When we held Part I, which was the introduction to the world of this socialite photographer's photographic works, collectors from around the world participated in the auction, setting several records.

Of course, that was Part 1...

The list of signed iconic celebrity photographs by Smith being presented at Part II will appeal to even more collectors. Iconic figures from Actors, TV Personalities, Political Figures, Writers, Dancers, Musical notables, and Sports Icons, will be presented in Part II.

Mount size: 11 x 14 inches. Charlton Heston (born John Charles Carter; October 4, 1923 – April 5, 2008) was an American actor and political activist. He appeared in almost 100 films over the course of 60 years. Heston enlisted in the US Army Air Forces and reached the rank of staff sergeant. After his rise to fame, Heston narrated for highly classified military instructional films, particularly relating to nuclear weapons, and for six years Heston held the nation's highest security - Q clearance; similar to a DoD or DIA clearance of top secret. He played Moses in the epic film The Ten Commandments, (1956), starred in The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Secret of the Incas (1954), Touch of Evil (1958) with Orson Welles, The Big Country (1958), Ben-Hur (1959), for which he won the Oscar for Best Actor, El Cid (1961), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Planet of the Apes (1968), The Omega Man (1971) and Soylent Green (1973). Heston served as the 16th President of the Screen Actors Guild (1965 -71). He was an active supporter of the Civil Rights Movement. In 1968, he used his manly image and cowboy appeal to publicize gun control measures. Heston left the Democratic Party in 1971 to become a Republican, founding a conservative political action committee and supporting Ronald Reagan.
