GERMAN WAR LOAN POSTER: "ZEICHNET KRIEGSANLEIHE!"
Well-illustrated German war loan poster, 27.5 x 36 in., created by Karl Sterrer, ca. 1917, bearing the message "Zeichnet Kriegsanleihe!" ("Subscribe to the War Loan!") atop a dramatic depiction of an Austrian soldier in uniform and holding his rifle with a woman, a boy, and a baby in the background. The poster has been archivally mounted onto linen, to a total size of 40.5 x 31 in. Vertical crease, and the poster has been slightly trimmed at bottom, else very good.
