ITALIAN-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA POSTER
Interesting World War I propaganda poster in Italian, 20 x 28 in., depicting a chest-up image of an Italian officer. The text below, in Italian, declares: "Italy needs meat � wheat � fat and sugar. Eat little of this food because it must go to our people and the troops of Italy." A line at bottom indicates release through the United States Food Administration, with a publishing line at bottom right identifying the printer as Latham Lithograph Company of New York. Vertical crease, loss to upper-left corner, else very good.
