Well-illustrated poster, approx. 29 in. x 21 in., issued by the United States Food Administration, designed by L.N. BRITTON (1858-1954), showing a table filled with produce, reading beneath: "EAT MORE CORN, OATS and RYE PRODUCTS - FISH and POULTRY - FRUITS, VEGETABLES and POTATOES�BAKED, BOILED and BROILED FOODS�EAT LESS WHEAT, MEAT, SUGAR and FATS to SAVE FOR THE ARMY and OUR ASSOCIATES." The bottom-left bears the label "No. 6" and bottom-right bears the publisher's line "Heywood, Strasser & Voigt Litho. Co. N.Y."" Some tears and minor loss at the edges, two tears archivally repaired on the verso, else very good.
