BRUCE (CAITLYN) JENNER
(b. 1949) American athlete and winner of the men's decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Jenner publicly came out as a trans woman in April 2015, becoming one of the most famous transgender women in the world. Fine complete set of 10 limited edition colored lithographs, each 22 x 29 in., no. 174/500, showing Jenner in a number of events, including the 100 Meter Dash, the Long Jump, the Shot Put, and six others. Each lithograph is signed at the bottom white margin in pencil by both Jenner and the artist, WILLIAM NELSON (b. 1942), all still enclosed in the original 22.75 x 30 in. plastic leatherette type case with carrying handle and opening snaps. Sold with a small 6 x 9 in. booklet, explaining how the two met and developed this suite. Near fine condition.
