Novellae on 'Shemos Gittin'- Handwritten by Rav Mordechai Henna of Hamburg- author of 'Iggeres Mordechai'
Novellae on Shulchan Aruch, Even Ha'ezer regarding names of women and men in the writing of a get- handwritten by Rav Mordechai Henna of Hamburg.
Rav Mordechai Henna- Great grandson of the 'Chavos Yair', a Dayan in Hamburg from 5487 and a renowned lecturer, father-in-law of the Ya'avetz. He discoursed with the gedoley hador of his time, including Rav Yehonason Eibeschitz and his father-in-law of his first marriage- Rav Shimshon Chassid Bloch, author of 'Nezirus Shimshon'. Passed away in 5527.
He left 12 works behind him- in all subjects of the Torah. The only work which was published in his lifetime was his commentary on the Passover Haggadah 'Aggadas Mordechai' which was printed in Amsterdam in 5524, with the Knesses Yisrael's approbation. In regard to the rest of his writings- a portion of them were saved and a portion of them disappeared. It may be that the handwritten portion written here was part of his 'Gedulas Mordechai' work. (See 'Chachmei A.H.V.', Hamburg 5665, pages 43-45).
