Rav Michal HaLevi Ish Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Krakow (5630-5700) son of Rav Chaim HaLevi Ish Horowitz, AB"D of Krakow, grandson of the 'Bar L'Yoai'. He was accepted to replace his father's place in Krakow, however after a short time he removed himself from the rabbinate and moved to Antwerp, where he passed away during the Nazi conquest. Of his writings: 'Avodas HaLevi'im' (Krakow 5690). (See: Encyclopedia Lechachmei Galicia Volume II pages 258-260)
