Five anti-Semitic propaganda notes of the anti-Semitic nationalistic Paul Drold. Paris, late 19th century. French.


* Two identical notes with the inscription "A bas les Juifs" [Begone Jews]. 10x4 cm.

* Three identical notes with the inscription "Vive Dérouléde" [Long live Drold]. 7x3 cm.

Paul Déroulède (1846-1914) Founder and President of the French National League "Ligue des patriots", which advocated revenge in Germany and the return of Alsace-Laurent to France. Déroulède became famous for his violent behavior as a representative of the national movement, which tended toward nationalism and anti-Semitism. During the Dreyfus affair, Drold supported the military's stance that he accused Alfred Dreyfus of treason.
