GERMAN DRIVING AWARD PLAQUE
Award plaque on a wooden base, totally sized 8.25 x 12 in., given to the winner of a driving course in central Germany. The award bears a 6.25 in. dia. circular brass disc, showing a swastika eagle in relief, the initials D.D.A.C., and the exhortation 'Dem Sieger' ('The Winner'). Beneath this disc is a brass placard with hand-engraved lettering, identifying the recipient: 'Ballonbegleitfahrt...9.Okt.1938...Ortsgr. Krefeld'. Slight surface abrasions to the brass, else very good.
