Rav Aharon Dovid Duetsch, Av Beis Din of Balassagyarmat, author of Goren Dovid (5573-5638) one of the great rabbonim of Hungary and one of the greatest disciples of the Chasam Sofer. He was known as a miracle worker. When people of his community and its surroundings would come to receive the blessings of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, he would tell them "Why are people coming to me- they can travel the Gaon and tzaddik of Balassagyarmat- who is in your close proximity". (Responsa Goren Dovid volume II page 313).
Very large pages, each page 28x45 cm. Rubbed out a bit in margins. Bound in new cloth binding.
