Chassidus. Pekudas Hamelech- by Rav Yisrael Nachman of Robitscher. Livorno 5564 [1804]

Sefer Pekudas Hamelech, single edition, two volumes:
Volume I: Pilpul on the words of the Mishneh Lamelech, in places where he had a safek (doubt) about the halacha and left them as "tzarich Iyun" (meaning: more research is necessary).
Volume II: Great eulogy on Rav Meshulam Igra Zatzal, Av Beis Din of Tysmenytsia and Pressburg. (In this volume, a dvar Torah of Rav Baruch of Kosov is brought.)

Rav Yisrael Nachman of Robitscher, born in Stanislau in Galicia, named after the Baal Shem Tov, as he writes in the sefer, on page 19b (in the second set of page-numbering) 'The words of the holy, famous one, Rav Yisrael Baal Shem Tov of Mezhbizh, which my name is in his.' His father was a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov [see below] and he was a disciple of the Ginzei Yosef (page 19b).
On his way to Eretz Yisrael, he became known by the Chida in Italy, who admired and respected him in an outstanding manner. From him, the Chida heard much about the Baal Shem Tov and the Chassidic movement. He discussed the sefer's printing with the Chida (see introduction) and the Chida mentioned him in his sefer Chomas Anach on Shir Hashirim: 'And I heard from the great light, our teacher, Rav Yisrael Nachman...in the name of the Rav and chassid-his father- our honorable teacher Rav Yosef Zal, a disciple of the Rav and chassid Rav Yisrael Baal Shem Tov Zal.'
In this volume, the author brings a number of things in the name of the Baal Shem Tov, see for example on pages 19b, 22a, 36b as well as in the name of Rav Baruch of Kosov (28a, 42b)

Livorno 5564 [1804] First print. [7], 27, 24-36: [1], 52 pages. 20 cm. Simple binding. Moth holes in inner margins.
