Kol Koreh by Gdoley Lithuanian Jewry in support of Lithuanian yeshivas before the outbreak of the Holocaust in Lithuania [1939]

"Kol Koreh" - A large poster on behalf of the great rabbis of Lithuania to support the Lithuanian yeshivas that are "in a very, very terrible situation where the disciples are really hungry for bread" - signed by Rabbi Avraham Dovber Kahana Shapira Av Beit Din of Kaunas, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Sher Rosh Yeshivat Salvodka - Kaunas, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Blach Av Beit Din of Telz, and members of the Yeshivot Committee. Kaunas, Adar 1939 - The last call of the great rabbis to help the holy yeshivas, that their condition worsened before the outbreak of World War II, and the terrible Holocaust. Very rare. Yiddish and Hebrew.

In their words, the geniuses address the public in light of the difficult material situation of the small yeshivot in Lithuania, which "it will hurt every Jewish person to see that the excellent of our sons who are building the house of Israel - lack and share some and there is no worry and no help ...".

Less than two years after the proclamation before us, on June 22, 1941, Nazi German forces invaded Lithuania, and a wave of assaults and assassinations immediately began by the Einsatzkommando 3 units of the Einsatzgruppe A, with the extensive assistance of Lithuanian pro-Nazi organizations and the Lithuanian order police.

Size: 54x31 cm. Folding marks. Reinforced on the back along the folding marks. Good condition. On the back of the poster are handwritten captions.
