Small medal and prayer book to Pvt. Nathan Goldoff who was born in Warsaw, Russia, moved to New York City and served in WWI with Company D, 112th Machine Gun Battalion, 29th Infantry Division in France. He was wounded at Meuse-Argonne on October 10, 1918. This lot includes his hand engraved split brooch engraved Purple Heart Medal (numbered 63558), WWI Victory Medal with Meuse-Argonne and Defensive Sector bars, and a Jewish Armed Forces Prayer Book inscribed to him from his Rabbi which may have a 1945 date.
