Eitan Avidov, emissary from Israel in the Diaspora camps, 1947
איתן אבידוב, כמו אביו יעקב, עסק בהעלאת יהודים ארצה. ב-1947 נשלח למחנה ויזנהוף ליד אינסברוק שבאוסטריה (מחנה של תנועת הבריחה) כדי לסייע בהעברת היהודים בשבילי האלפים לאיטליה. באותה תקופה היה ארגון הבריחה מסוכסך עם ארגון האצ"ל על השליטה במסלולי הבריחה, וב-30 באוקטובר 1947 ניסו אנשי האצ"ל להשתלט על המחנה, ואיתן, שניסה להתנגד, נהרג מפליטת כדור אקדח הוא הובא לקבורה בנהלל.
