Silver Snuff Box of the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch - Gift from Prince Lubomirski – With Certificate of Authenticity Signed by Rebbetzin Chanah Gurary
Silver snuff box (marked: Russian hallmarks, late 18th century or early 19th century).
Letter of authenticity enclosed (handwritten note, in English), signed in Hebrew by Rebbetzin Chanah Gurary (1899-1991), eldest daughter of Rebbe Rayatz: "I hereby gift… the silver Pushke – Snuff box that the Mittler Rebbe received as a gift from Graf Lubermirsky… It was given to me by my grandfather a few months before he passed away". Dated September 17, 1989.
Approx. 4.5X7.5 cm. Good condition.
