Letter on the Topic "Samuch V'Nir'eh" for a Suburb from Rabbi Ya'akov Kalmas
Rabbi Ya'akov Kalmas was a native of Lithuania (1880) and studied at yeshivahs there, as well as serving in many of its communities. He was devoted to Russian Jewry during its harsh times. In 1934, he ascended to the Land and settled in Tel Aviv, where he was very active on behalf of Russians there.
