R. Levi Yitzchak Greenwald (1893-1980) known as the Tzelemer Rov, was the son of R. Moshe Greenwald of Chust / Chist (1853-1911), founder of Pupa Chassidism and famously, the author of Arugath Habosem.
R. Levi Yitzchak served as rabbi of Tzelemer, Austria (Deutschkreutz in German). Following the Anschluss in 1938, he relocated to Williamsburg where he established one of the first Hassidic communities in that neighborhood - Congregation Arurgath Habosem.
