Likutey Moharan – Printed in the Home of Rebbi Nosson of Breslov – First Complete Edition, Breslau, 5581 [1821]

Likutei Moharan - Sermons on Chassidus by Rabbi Nachman of Breslav were written
by his disciple Rabbi Natan Sternhartz of Namirov

This is the second edition of the book, but in this edition for the first time the two parts are together, with many corrections and additions, this edition is the final edition of the book according to which all the subsequent editions were printed.

The importance of the book is well known due to the fact that it was printed with mesirus nefesh in the house of his disciple Rabbi Natan, and Rabbi Natan himself set up the printing house in his house for the purpose of printing this edition as  "described in the introduction to the book:

In the year 1809 I began setting up the printing press in my house in order to print his holy books with some wonderful corrections, and I had great opposition in it and many and immense deterrences without end. And with Hashem's salvation,   it was successful and I finished the business in three years, that is, from the year 1809 to the end of the year 1821.

Due to the threat of censorship, R' Natan concealed  the place of printing and wrote in the first part, Austria and in the second part, Mahalub - where the books were first printed.

Breslav, 1821 in the house of Rabbi Natan of Breslav. 4,122, [1], [1], 44 leaves.  Index page to first part is bound after the title page. The whole book went through complete professional restoration.
