Ach Pri Tevuah by the Admo"r Rabbi Hersheleh of Liska. FIrst Edition. Two Volumes.

Ach Pri Tevuah- Chassidic thoughts in order of the weekly Torah portions, by the Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska (rabbi and teacher of Rabbi Yeshayaleh of Kerestir). Two parts in two separate volumes. Munkacs, 1875-1876. First edition. Pedigree copy.

First edition of the renowned Chassidic book by one of the unique tzaddikim over the generations, the wonder-worker Rabbi Hersheleh of Liska. The book was brought to print by his grandson just after the author's passing.

An enthusiastic approbation by the Admo"r, the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz, appears at the beginning of the book. The publisher wrote that he did not take any additional approbations due to the author's will that if they want to print the book, they ask for an approbation from only one tzaddik. This approbation was printed in both parts. The author's will was also printed in the first part.

The gaon Rabbi Naftali Halpert of Sighet's signature and stamp appear on the title page. He was the final rabbi of Satmar, Hungary, and a close associate of rabbinic leaders of the generation, as well as being an in-law of the Ktav Sofer. The text of the stamp is "Naftali Halpert, Av Beit Din of Satu Mare."

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the author, the Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska and of the gaon Rabbi Naftali Halpert of Sighet.
