2011-p U.S. Army Modern Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded GEM++ Proof Deep Cameo By USCG. The 2011 United States Army Half Dollar was issued in 3 designs as a Half Dollar, Silver Dollar and $5 Gold. The obverse of the U.S. Army Half Dollar coin depicts three Army soldiers. One of the soldiers is surveying two other soldiers building a flood wall. The reverse features an enlisted Continental soldier armed with a musket and above him are 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies. The reverse of the coin represents the U.S. Army as the first military service defending the country and how the army has played a major role in the Nation's internal development. This Perfect coin is graded PR70 Deep cameo by USCG.
